Rhythm XX is over. so sad lor. everyone is so tired, but no less extremely satisfied. i feel a great sense of achievement and satisfaction too.

the afternoon concert was annoying. during the trombone con, got damned thunder the whole time. so stupid. keep interrupting the soloist, who can't go too loud already lor. idiotic. but the alumni damn nice!! sun lu got 2 solos total. ahha. cos they shout encore then he performed another solo. probably ask them shout one. then the "all-time favourite", phantom of the opera. so nice la. we sitting in the first three rows. can't really see, but so nice their pieces. oh ya, THE STAGE BAND ROCKS!!!!!! is DAMN nice la! the trumpet and sax solos damn nice. the trumpet soloist and the trombones keep doing glissando. so funny and nice la. the trombone not that difficult cos they use slide. but i have no idea how the trumpeter did glissando. freaking prowess. got alot of ppl came lei =)

i tell you, the night concert was superb. for some reason, nothing went wrong. IT WAS FULL HOUSE. whee!! our principal mr sng and some teachers also came, and also the australians. in mozart, we all had near-perfect intonation, then in clarinet con, whoo. very decent intonation. and the first movement's cadenza was dman nice. during gilgamesh, dunno what so funny. the first mvoement baritone sax solo, then everybody laugh. wonder what happened. gilgamesh like so perfect lor. the 3rd movement my fav, can listen all their running passages from bar 42. like pros like that. and the 4th movement also damn good. my senior play perfect lor. the piano con also very nice. the piano was like so big. then all the technical passages also very nice. make me look in wonder. so pro lor. i love the piano con!! then during alumni performance we were listening backstage. very nice. i still liked phantom of the opera. lord of the rings also very nice. the encore damn sei la. tong hua was DAMN nice!! mrs wong gave a speech, then emcee said tong hua was dedicated to mrs wong for her lasting and never-ending dedication and commitment to our band. MRS WONG YOU ROCK!! so emotional la tong hua. very nice la. stand by me also! i was like waiting for stand by me lor. waiting and waiting. then somebody started to play then stopped. THEN FINALLY some people started playing. whee. then we the flutes and oboes stand up some parts. audience screaming like woohoo. haha. trumpets also stood up. the rest of the band probably never stand up lor. not enthu, maybe shy. but behind me i dunno la. imagine if the tubas stood up o.0

originally i thought very scary la first time concert wad. but turns out quite ok. so many xiao you came back. so much more than last year. this year got piccolo! jiayous xiao cui! got one of my xiao you quite long liao. when my this year sec 4 seniors were sec 1, she already sec 4. shiok la. the australians even gave us a standing ovation. whee. the performance was a great success!

so sad lor rhythm ended liao. then my sec 4s leaving. =( i wish Rhythm XX lasted forever. BAND ROCKS! WOOHOO!!
