damn Carvalho. his second-half header gave Chelsea a precious point from Old Trafford as leaders Utd were prevented from going 6 pts clear of the league. but the build-up play to Saha's goal at the half-hour was great as Rooney delivered a fine through pass up to Saha, who had Terry and Carvalho tricked as he switched the ball to his left foot and curled a wonderful left-footed shot past Carvalho and the diving Cudicini. however Chelsea had a few shots on target as well, as Van Der Sar saved a powerful long-ranged shot from Geremi and a relatively weaker effort from Lampard. it should still be noted that Saha the scorer, had two other close chances which unfortunately didn't end up in goals as he was unable to get a good touch. sadly, in the 70th minute, Carvalho's header brought Chelski level 1-1. he rose above Heinze who was probably too short, to meet with Lampard's corner and on-the-line Saha was unable to knock it away. but funnily enough it seemed that Saha's intervention caused Carvalho to score. somehow his header took the ball away from Van Der Sar, who would likely have been able to save.

and Mourinho is a cheating scum who decided to take off Ballack for Paulo Ferreira in the 2nd minute of stoppage time. otherwise i wonder. could the result have been turned in favour of the hosts?

yay. finally finished 1984. after.. lets see.. about a week of reading. turns out that O' Brien is probably a loyal Party member who pretends that the 'book' and the Brotherhood exists. ok, the 'book' does, but it was partly written by him. and i say, Winston's lucky to be alive. after getting tortured. and that landlord whats his name, a member of the Thought Police hahaha. who ask Winston so easily trust people. but from hating the Party, Winston changed alot. imagine when the last four words are "He loved Big Brother" lol.

whoever hasn't read that book, should. turns out its a really decent read.

1984 is boring like shit. read the first 6 chapters and decided that theres not much storyline to it. some shitty war between BB (Big Brother - stupid right) and the Brotherhood rofl. then got some Ministry of Truth, Love etc. how ironic when the miniluv (ministry of love) is used to handle war or summat. the maths books more interesting although i can hardly understand anything.

like all the LA books suck. Macbeth is Shakespeare, not worth a read, and Joy Luck Club is crappy. x_x wonder how i'll survive through LA next year.

geesh class chalet was so long ago and it seems like just ytd.

anyway on wednesday me nick and ben took a taxi to the chalet after band and we reached like 6. -.- and i didn't know cos sy told me he not gng on wed, and so we left him behind. anyway they were playing dunno what game i think is cap's ball and so me and ben joined in. we ordered mac's for dinner rofl. nice price : $99.90 if im not wrong. each person chipped in 6 bucks and we had some leftover. by leftover i mean money AND food. tsktsk what food-wasters. they shoulda given the food to me. then at about 9+ we went for a walk near the beach and we walked just a short distance la. but then we saw 2 snails doing something sneaky ;) then whenever we saw bikers or bladers we would like erm. encourage them or sth? made a hell lotta noise la. then went back to the chalet about 10+. they watch so many movies until sian. only can remember i not stupid II and monster house. not too bad but sadly i watched them before. and more unfortunately, the air-conditioning broke down during the night. so they went out and the rest of us at the chalet were debating about whether to call for help. then in the end i called and the guy came in and did sth to the main power outlet and the air-con came back on. that was i think 2am. then at 4+ they finally turned of the tv and went to sleep. i think about 10+ of us were sleeping in the living room. only eustance sleeping in the guys room and the rest playing cards. so thanks to benjamin who seems to need a space twice his size to sleep, i couldnt sleep until like 5.30. and then woke up at 6 rofl. went out to watch the sunrise, which we unfortunately couldn't catch.

second day. nic came in the morning. since we had to wait from 10 - 2 to check into the 2nd chalet we went to the playground waited until 12 then went bowling/pool. then tim and bh came. so after that check into the 2nd chalet and i think everyone was damn bored. in between play vball and cball a lot of times i think. and it rained. wow. they were moaning that the bbq couldnt start but it eventually stopped raining. so, at about 6, they started the fire. or rather they started to start the fire. either way most of the food was 'done' by 7+ and nick and pm went home if im not wrong. and after eating the food i got stomachache rofl. still wondering how tim managed to eat 5 chicken wings, 4 sausages and 2 plates of beehoon and not get stomachache. at about 2 they were watching austin powers and i somehow fell asleep on the couch. i was surprised when, waking up at 3, everyone except bh was asleep. guess everyone was too tired and couldn't take it. so the next morn im sure everyone was very sad cos its like the last time so many ppl can meet up.

what a great experience. i sure hope next time still can have 2g chalets and gatherings. thanks eustance and nick for organising this chalet. im sure everyone enjoyed themselves. and also thanks everyone who turned up and made this gathering possible. =D

brilliant. that leaves Utd 3 points clear at the top of the Premiership.

excellent goals from Dawson, Lennon for Tottenham, and Harewood for West Ham.

oh "yay".

im in 3L.

damn only 28 people. at least beside us, in 3K, got many decent people eg. melv, fel, matthew and jin hui. so every morning we can go over and have a decent chat.

then look at 3L. we have an astonishing 6 people from 2L. and another 6 PRCs who transferred in. considering we have 28 people only, this leaves 16 normal people. walao even 3K has like 36 people. damnit 3L must have been for abnormally smart people - which means im at the wrong class. those dudes allocated wrongly. at the very least, there's binghowe and zenn. and ruixiang too.

to cap off a "good" week, Utd lost 1-0 away to FC Copenhagen.

damn.

Barca were European Champions last season, but this season, it doesn't really seem as though they can qualify for the knockout stages, having drawn 2-2 with Chelsea at home on Tuesday. on the other hand, Werder Bremen demolished Levski Sofia 3-0 away. currently Barcelona are in 3rd place in their group with 5 points, whereas Bremen have 7 and Chelsea, the group leaders, have 10. since only the top 2 clubs advance to the knockout stage, Barcelona are in danger of being eliminated. c'mon Barca you can do better than that. there are a couple of fixtures left and they have to buck up if they want to even think about keeping their title.

sian la. holidays are so boring.
