finally band camp is over. somehow managed to survive the 4 draining days. anyway we had aircon for the past 2 (?) days yay at least not so hot. and ytd was the christmas concert lol. damn crappy. at first flutes wanted to play the Twelve Days of Christmas. then turns out the CMs were using it as an introduction or summat. then somehow we managed to convince them that we could play while they SANG ahahaa. so i asked sockhian if she could play the bass and she kindly obliged. so during lunch, chunbok and emelyne were trying to think up lyrics for the 12 days. cos decided that the first day would be like "on the first day of christmas horns will give to you -..." so after they sang each "day" then one section would perform. so thats what they did. but i think there was a major breakdown during the concert. normally for each day eg 7th day, they have to say 7 things that are presented. but they only said 1. so we there playing then cant hear what they were singing and they seemed to have sung only for one item. so very crappy.

first up was horns, 2 pieces. and then followed by saxes, basses if im not wrong. and the rest of the order i cant remember but the clarinets, perc, clarinets&perc performed. and then they wanted to play the twelve days of christmas in full. so we did. it was a very rash decision, on the spot. so i apologise for the bad playing. we were playing halfway when the CMs + jazreen started singing. then when they suddenly stopped singing we all break down. gay la. and got alumni play i thikn is telemann's sonata for oboe and bassoon. oh ya then another rash decision by emelyne to play jingle bells in a very high range. so me, emelyne and chunbok played. intonation was hilarious and we stopped like twice. but then not THAT bad la i hope. then had the presentation ceremony for mr davis. then the rest i cant remember. damn.
